I have not been on for a while and have just seen this post. I can not believe you are being expected to pay for splints. I have a bag full of various sizes for all 8 fingers and I must admit I am terrified of losing them but have been told just to pop in and they will replace them. The hand surgeon here did try and reposition my tendons but they have all moved back now.
As for an iron - and I know that ironing anyway is a problem i have bought a steam iron so that at least i am not picking up the iron and the water.

Hello Sheena i do have pain in my left side to i mentioned it to the rheumy nurse she as ked the consultant and said you do have joints between your ribs so it could be the rheumy affecting those joints has any body else had this hope you are feeling better now Sheena my O.T gave me a letter so i would get any equipment for my rheumy vat free

Hi Sheena, hope you are feeling better,i am going to try and attend L/D hosp its on the 13th, this is the date i am due back to work after a yr off sick.

I am sure i will make it, i would hate to miss the 1st one, will we both wear carnations? lol

I am off to Devon on Saturday for a weeks break b4 starting back, work is begeining to feel like unknown territory after such a long absence, anyway take care.
